Updated October 10, 2008 LEADERSHIP | Bart Tichelman, President and CEO of ARISE Technologies, brings extensive experience in sales, marketing, operations and general management gained in the energy, telecommunications, beverage and electronics industries. Before joining ARISE, Bart served as CEO for Serveron Corporation until its sale in December 2007. Prior to this, Bart was COO of Xantrex Technology Inc., CEO of Statpower Technologies Corporation, and led the Eastern US operations of Cott Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, as a partner with Paradigm Consulting Ltd., he assisted clients who were undergoing dramatic change. Bart made significant contributions in the telecommunications industry with Unitel Communications, serving as Vice President of the General Business Market, Vice President of Network Operations as well as several other positions. He began his career as a Marketing Representative for IBM Canada and held several positions beyond this, including Branch Manager. Bart holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of British Columbia. |

| Ian MacLellan, CTO and founder of ARISE, has 30 years of sales, engineering, venture capital, acquisitions, and management experience and is a leading Canadian solar energy expert. He graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical University as an Electrical Engineering Technologist. He then spent ten years with Motorola, Hewlett Packard and Oracle in various technical, sales and management positions. In 1989 he founded Creation Venture Capital Corporation that made several successful investments, mostly in electronic manufacturers and then sold his interest in late 1995. In 1996, he consulted for Solar Design Associates, a world leader in solar energy and for a related company, Advanced Energy Systems where he became the Chairman of the Board. |

| Dave Chornaby, Chief Financial Officer, is a Certified Management Accountant who brings 23 years of diverse financial and managerial experience to ARISE. He has worked in both technology and manufacturing environments, predominantly with Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Ltd., where he served in a number of progressively senior positions, including Division Controller, Manufacturing Manager and Division General Manager. Most recently, he was VP Finance & Operations for SBS Technologies (Canada), Inc., a division of General Electric, having served in a variety of other senior roles with predecessor companies over the past ten years. |

| Jeff Dawkins, Vice President and General Manager, Silicon DIvision, has spent 27 years in the electronics industry, working predominantly for Intel and HP. He has 20 years of progressive management experience, including four years as a Division General Manager. He is responsible for all aspects of the ARISE Silicon Operation, including the previously announced Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) High Purity Solar Grade Silicon Feedstock Project for PV applications. |

 | Bert Pendergast, Vice President and General Manager Systems Division is an accomplished global executive with over 20 years of divisional general management success in the high tech industry, most recently as Celestica's Global VP/GM Aftermarket Services. Previously he was VP/GM Field Services for Solectron and prior to its acquisition by Solectron, was President & CEO of NULOGIX technical services. Prior to this he spent 19 years at IBM including 5 years in divisional general manager roles. Bert has honed a unique & wide breadth of expertise in sales, finance, marketing, brand management, retail, call centres, operations and services throughout his leadership career. Bert has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary's University. |

| Chris Waters, Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, has 12 years experience in business development, operational and sales roles. He held increasingly senior positions during his seven years at Research In Motion where he helped acquire the carrier partners to launch the iconic BlackBerry brand. Prior to RIM, he worked at a boutique consultancy for 2 years where he helped clients with their funding and business development initiatives. He has also held various positions at CN Rail, IBM and Nortel. Chris graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours degree in Economics and went on to do his MBA at McMaster University. Chris is responsible for all aspects of customer, supplier, and partner identification, acquisition and in-life management. |

| Marilyn Wolfe, Vice President, Human Resources, brings with her more than 25 years of senior HR experience in the manufacturing technology sector. Prior to joining ARISE in 2008 she was the Vice President of HR, Global Operations at ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc., a global manufacturing automation company serving the needs of multinational customers. Marilyn is responsible for the delivery of the full spectrum of HR services including employee relations, EAP services, benefits, compensation, recruitment, occupational health and safety, as well as all practices and policies. Marilyn has served on the Boards of Conestoga College, United Way and Skills Canada and has a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. |

| Sjouke Zijlstra, Vice President and General Manager PV Division, has spent 34 years in the electronics and photovoltaic (PV) industries, working for a variety of international organizations in Europe. For the past 10 years, he has held progressive management positions at Shell Solar operations in Germany and The Netherlands. Sjouke is responsible for managing all aspects of the design, construction and operation of ARISE’s new 80MW cell production facility in Bischofswerda, Germany. |
